How to free a seized seatpost

Wrap packing tape around the seat tube to make a funnel around the seatpost.

Spray Carbomove generously into the funnel, keeping the seatpost/frame interface wet.

Let it work for a few hours, topping up if needed.

Check if the seatpost moves. If not, repeat from step 2.
Tip
If the seatpost is inserted more than 20 cm, turn the bike upside down, remove the bottom bracket and spray from inside the frame.

Let it work for a few hours, topping up if needed, then check. Insertion depth matters: beyond about 20 cm the job gets much harder.
